BEACHES
Los Alcazares has some of the finest beaches along the Costa Calida of Spain. The beaches at Playa de los Narejos and Playa del Espejo have won the famous Q Awards for their high standards. The beaches run along the Mar Menor and offers warm shallow waters and fine sand. Along the promenade there are various bars, cafes, restaurants selling local tapas and play areas for children. Just a short walk inland leads you into the town centre area of Los Alcazares.
San Pedro del Pinatar beaches are on the Mar Menor. By the windmill you can try the famous therapeutic mud's, known to prevent rheumatism and arthritis. Walking along from there is the wide promenade, lined with benches, play areas for children and lots of restaurants and cafes. All the beaches on the Mar Menor offer warm shallow waters and fine sand.
Santiago de la Ribera wide promenade leads on to a sandy beach. The seafront has just had a refurbishment and now offers a pleasant and charming promenade ideal for a morning stroll. Along the beach front there are many cafes and restaurants to sit and relax.
Torre de la Horadada has small private coves, along the Mediterranean Sea. This is an ideal spot to visit as it is at present a little more secluded. Small private coves with fine sand and warm clear waters. Just a short stroll takes you to cafes and bars.

Cartagena is a historic Roman City. It has a tourist boat that takes you all around the docks of Cartagena, describing a circular route that borders the Lighthouses of Curra and Navidad, the Algameca Chica and the Isle of Escombreras. Tour the town in comfort. Step on board the tourist bus and visit the most important and interesting sights throughout the town. Step off at each stop and make the most of every visit including the Castle of La Concepcion and the Panoramic Lift
Murcia has lots of cultural and tourists places of interest to visit. Murcia has many fine buildings, including the Cathedral which shows off there excellent architecture. Artistic and historic wealth is on display at the city´s museums, such as the Archaeological Museum, the Fine Arts Museum or the Salzillo Museum.
Lorca Castle is an entertaining day out for the family. Travel back in time and encounter the roman world. This is both a fun and educational day that both kids and adults will enjoy. There are many things to discover, learn and interact with. Don`t forget to take your camera with you as there are lots of photo opportunities in the castle and the magnificent view looking over Lorca.
Sierra Espuna Southwest of Murcia city, the Andalucian sierras tail off into a series of rocky massifs, undeveloped and undiscovered. This is the Sierra de Espuna, one of Spain's renowned natural parks, a wilderness area of dramatic peaks and pine forests offering scenic drives, serious climbing and superb walking.
Terra Mitica is a fun filled day out for all the family and is defiantly worth a visit. It has a range of rides for all the family and thrill seeking ones of the more adventures, be prepared to get wet!!! There are shows and street entertainers throughout the day to keep you entertained. Throughout the park are lots of benches and places to cool down, along with a good choice of restaurants and cafes for refreshments.
Terra Natura is split in to four different areas, America, Asia, Europe and Pangea. Through your journey you will see how the animals live in there natural habitat and discover the people and places. There are also various shows and entertainers along you journey to keep you entertained. There are a variety of cafes selling various foods. They also have an aqua park area that is open in the summer months.
Aqualandia offers a full day out for all the family. It has water rides for all ages. There is a children's water Adventureland that has numerous slides and activities. For the adults there is a selection of more daring rides. Spread throughout the park are pools, lagoons and waterfalls. There is sun beds, cafes, restaurants, gift shops and changing room facilities.

Murcia`s wide avenues are lined with a great selection of high street brand shops and has a very large El Corte Ingles department store. Wandering around the back streets of the town heading in the direction of the Cathedral you will find many dwindling lanes with exclusive little shops and boutiques if you are looking for that something different.
Murcia - Nueva Condiminium Shopping Centre - the indoor shopping mall has a wide ranges of restaurants, cafes and bars. The two levels offer a large range of clothes, sports, toy and household shops. With many Spanish and UK high street brands including Mango, Zara, H&M, Primark and many more. There is also a large Eroski supermarket that sells food and other items.
Murcia - Thader Shopping Centre - has shops, cafes and restaurants outdoors and indoors. This Mediterranean style shopping centre is a great place to spend the day shopping with a large range of high street shops and a large selection of places to stop for lunch.The centre also has a large supermarket selling a wide range of items. Opposite the Thader centre is the famous Ikea homestore.
Cartagena has a large Carrefour supermarket and an El Corte Ingles department store. They are signposted clearly when entering Cartagena. Cartagena town has many winding streets that offers a selection of typical Spanish shops and high street brands.
Cartagena - Mediterraneo Retail Park - with three large electricle superstores including Media Markt, various sports superstores, Toys r Us, home stores, restaurants and a Carrefour Hypermarket. Plus Zara, Mango and many other high street names in the shopping centre.
Dos Mares Shopping Complex has a wide selection of shops and food court. It also has the Eroski supermarket and amusement park with bowling.The complex is situated on exit 777 on the main AP7 dual carriage way.

Mar Menor Ferry - Take a relaxing Ferry Trip from Santiago de la Ribera to La Manga Puerto Tomas Maestre harbour. The ferry departs Santiago de la Ribera from 10am and every 2 hours thereafter. Relax and enjoy the pleasant journey on the calm Mar Menor waters. La Manga harbour has a selection of bars and restaurants to relax and enjoy a drink or meal. Or if not explore La Manga, there are many buses and tourist trains to hop on .
Cartagena Port Catamaran Cruise - Discover Cartagena by taking the catamaran cruiser. The cruiser offer daily tours of Cartagena, taking approx 1 hour. Mar Menor Go Karts - Mar Menor Go Karts is a great day out. The Go Karts are for all ages and there is also a refreshment cafeteria. Mar Menor Go Kart track is positioned close to San Javier Murcia Airport heading towards Los Alcazares and is open from 11am - 11pm. There is no need to book and discount is given on groups of 10 or more.
